Bitomoides gen. nov. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Opiinae) from Europe Naturalis

Bitomoides gen. nov. (type species: Bitomus latus Papp, 1999) is described and illustrated. In addition Phaedrotoma recondes spec. nov. and Chelonus lukasi nom. nov. are validated.

New species and new record of Chelonini (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) from western Iran Naturalis

In 2015 and 2016, the occurrence of the tribe Chelonini (Braconidae, Cheloninae) in the province of Hamadan (western Iran) was surveyed using malaise traps. In total, 12 species were discovered. Chelonus (C.) olgae Kokujev, 1895 is new to the fauna of Iran and one species, Chelonus (Microchelonus) subpamiricus Farahani & van Achterberg sp. nov., is new to science. The diagnostic characters and supplementary illustrations of the newly recorded species are provided.

New species of the genera Foenomorpha Szépligeti (Cenocoeliinae) and Chelonus Panzer (Cheloninae) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), from French Guiana, Suriname, and Brazil Naturalis

Two new species of the genus Foenomorpha Szépligeti, 1904, are described (F. rufa spec. nov. from Brazil and F. senlura spec. nov. from French Guiana). A key to the known species is added and notes on the other two species are added. Foenomorpha filicornis (Cameron, 1887) is a new combination for Cenocoelius filicornis Cameron. An aberrant group of Chelonus with very slender antennal segments and a protuberant scutellum from French Guiana and Suriname is described and included in the new subgenus Baculonus (type species: C. pachytellus spec. nov.). Epsilogaster palenque Whitfield & Mason, 1994, is reported for the first time from Costa Rica.

The braconid parasitoids (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) of Kermania pistaciella Amsel (Lepidoptera: Tineidae: Hieroxestinae) in Iran Naturalis

Two species of Braconidae (Chelonus kermakiae (Tobias, 2001) (Cheloninae) and Centistidea pistaciella spec. nov. (Miracinae)) have been reared from the pistachio twig borer moth (Kermania pistaciella Amsel) (Tineidae). Both species are described and illustrated; Centistidea pistaciella spec. nov. is included in a new subgenus (Paracentistidea subgen. nov. with C. pistaciella spec. nov. as type species) and a key to the Palaearctic and North Oriental species of the genus Centistidea Rohwer is added.

The parasites of cereal stem borers (Lepidoptera: Cossidae, Crambidae, Noctuidae, Pyralidae) in Africa, belonging to the family Braconidae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonoidea) Naturalis

A review is given of the parasites (parasitoids) of the African cereal stem borers (including introduced species) belonging to the family Braconidae (Hymenoptera); 38 species belonging to 19 genera are keyed and treated. Three new species are described: Macrocentrus sesamivorus spec. nov. from Kenya, Somalia, and Zaïre (Macrocentrinae), Iphiaulax pilisoma spec. nov. from Senegal, and Amyosoma flavistigma spec. nov. from Australia (Braconinae). New synonyms are: Euglyptobracon Telenga, 1936, with Pseudovipio Szépligeti, 1896; Lorenzoa de Stefani-Perez, 1909, Kulczynskia Niezabitowski, 1910, and Chivinia Shestakov, 1932, with Bracon Fabricius, 1804; Euvipio Szépligeti, 1904, with Stenobracon Szépligeti, 1901; Glyptomorpha baetica var. mauretanica Szépligeti,...
